Dry Needling

Acupuncture and dry needling techniques are not the same. Dry needling involves inserting thin needles into trigger points, or hyper-irritated muscle tissue.Dry needling is the use of either solid filiform needles or hollow-core hypodermic needles for therapy of muscle pain, sometimes also known as intramuscular stimulation (IMS). Jones Physical Therapy’s dry needling techniques are based on western neuroanatomy and modern scientific study of the musculoskeletal and nervous system.

Joint Replacement

Before and after undergoing joint replacement, whether it’s for a knee, shoulder or hip, physical therapy plays a critical role in every stage of the process. It’s important to be as fit as possible before undergoing a joint replacement. Physical therapy can provide a patient with critical exercises before surgery to provide a platform for the fastest  postoperative recovery possible.
